There is a moment each morning when the world has not yet asked anything of you. Before the phone and before the emails. Before the urgency of the day approaches your shoulders. Morning time is when your spirit is most open, so it’s the perfect moment to set your energy for the day.
Step outside—even if it’s just onto a balcony, a porch, or stand by an open window. Face East. Let the first light touch you and relax every muscle in your face. Breathe. Right now you don’t need incense or a mantra. For just this moment you need presence.
Place one hand on your solar plexus, just above your navel. This is the seat of your will, your confidence, your inner fire. As the sunlight meets your skin, breathe in slowly through your nose and imagine that golden light entering your body. Not dramatically. Gently. Like warmth spreading through cool water.
On the exhale, release yesterday. Release unfinished conversations. Release how the night went.
For 5 minutes just breathe light into your body. Feel it rather than just picturing it.
Morning light resets your circadian rhythm, steadies your hormones, and reminds your nervous system that you are safe. Spiritually, it awakens the inner sun — the part of you that creates rather than reacts.
You are not meant to wake up in defense mode.
You are meant to rise like the sun itself- steady, warm, and quietly powerful.
Five minutes. That’s all it takes to remember who you are.
